Friend of mine caught 6 walleyes at James on saturday throwing shadraps at the banks. I have no idea where he was fishing at on the lake though. Biggest was 16 inches.

Nice fish! Are stripers frequently caught out of Lookout or is it one of those caught by accident?

turkeyfoot any fish i catch is by accident. lol ..but they are fair numbers of stripers in lookout lookout held the state record for many years but, it doesn't have the number of stripers that the other catawba lakes do.the up side is it's not very crowed.,

cheesedog the walleye and white bass are coming back out of the rivers now and are biting fairly well.a friend of mine went tues. evening and said he caught 40 or better white bass and his partner did as well.he was fishing around the last point before you get to the moose lodge.this guy is very reliable source.
crappiefinder as for the grill i will let you know sat.i have a place reserved for him on the grill right beside some rainbow trout.
    good fishing everyone!
