    Default Falls Lake Crappie Pics\Report (4-17-08)

    Took Dad fishin for his birthday yesterday. Took home 48, released another 30 or so. Kept nothing under 11". 2 biggest were a 15" white crappie and a 15 1/2" black (both near 2lb). Nothing on laydowns in the morning when water temp was 60*, but they made a decent move to the bank around 3pm when the water temp hit 66*. We ran out of minnows early and used 1/16oz black\chart tubes with crappie nibbles the remainder of the day. Main lake laydowns were better than coves.

    Yessirreee....those 2 biguns sure look good. Bet they had a little pull on em. Good report...wish I had been there.
