I did this not long after I bought my boat. I had to go to bass pro (Nitro Boat)and by a new one. It comes with the plug and threaded housing. The housing mounts to the boat via 2 screws. You will have to re-seal the housing so buy silicone/epoxy while you are getting your other stuff. You may have to go to a repair shop to get your parts.

I picked up one like that at a boat shop. They had three of them on the wall.

It's called a garboard plug. You can buy them cheap online for under 6 dollars. I think they come in 2 standard sizes 1/2inch and 3/4inch. Just do a search on the net and you will find it. No need to replace the housing/female part, just purcase the kit and use the plug only.
