He would get it right, if he just said weather would be messed up for the weekend. No fishing. Weekends are the only time I can go.

I have found the NCNat factor to be more reliable than the weather man. Find out if Nat is going fishing that day and if he is you can expect high winds. If Crap-King is going with him then you can expect even higher winds AND several good Thunderstorms. Laugh all you want, but this method kept me fishing in good weather all last year!

i know one thing, theyre kinda sorta close on the rain forecasting. but let em get it right just one time with the wind speed. i fish a toon and the wind is a big factor for me, more than most. many a times i went out with 5 to 10mph winds forecasted only to get blown off the water with 30mph gusts. ill fish in a downpour, but a 15mph wind kills me!

If it is cool in your area then the front has passed by. if the winds are coming out of the east then your on the cool side of the front. The reason why the rain is staying put is because the front has stalled. It is a pain in the butt. I wish it would do something besides sit still. It has been raining 100 miles to my North and I can't buy a drop. i hope we get a good shower and then this thing just clear on out. I got a lot of field work to do before I can get out to fish again. This stinking front ain't helping things. CF

You've had it too easy, I think I'll start lying about when i'm going to go so you can fish under REAL conditions
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

We fished Jordan last night and the wind was steady all night. Made fishing uncomfortable but the bite was good. We brought home 21 11 inch fish and threw more than that back. Quite a few other boats on the water last night too. CK.

Just get him on, then we'll worry about getting him in!

Same on Falls Lake last night.. Fished from about 9pm -12AM and left them biteing. Took home a nice mess of both Crappie and White Perch. I started just above the 98 bridge anchord out by the no wake bouy.. Wind was up and comming right down the channel but tollerable.

The White Perch were not the little ones but not huge either.. they made good filets..

When I got back to the Ramp I used the last of my minnows and caught a nice slab right there under the bridge too!
