Fished Jordan late yesterday afternoon, found a tree in 9ft of water and caught them on every cast till I left it...frustrated... all fish were clones at 9.5 inches...No keepers and a nightmare at the Ebenezer Ramp between the wind and the two idiots who pulled out and blocked three of the ramps for 30 mins while they secured their boat and gear..there should be a required class on boat ramp "common sense" before you can buy a boat!!
Nice report. Just think all those throw backs will be keppas next year or maybe even by fall. And you found their dining room. Sounds like a good plase to mark on the GPS. Those people that do crap like that at a boat ramp ought to be shot. Typical arrogant types that have no regard for others and think they own the whole world. Just wanna shoot em.lol
So people have no respect or maybe I should say they have no idea in proper procedures at the boat ramp.. It is really comical sometimes to see this idiots!! Yesterday at High Rock at the wildlife ramp across from Tamarac, a family in old pontoon, home rigged up, about ramped slap into myu side cause he had no idea what to do.. and he just didn't even care... didn't say sorry or excuse me or nothin'...They need to have ramp rules or classes before getting registration for proper boat ramp procedures...I could go on and on!!!! LOL
jordan is just the worst place i have ever been for ramp know how.i have got to where i will tell them to move.and another thing a lot of boaters in n.c. could not afford to boat in g.a. where im from, they could not pay all the no wake zone tickets they would get at the bridges.
fish nekid you will love the nibbles
I've saw plenty of stuff at the Ebenezer area from boats ignoring the no wake zone at the bridge to watching folks "try" to back a trailer in the water but one that got me was a guy was backing his boat down one of the ramps and there was a boat tied to the pier at the same ramp. The driver stopped his truck and asked the people in the boat were they waiting for someone to back a trailer to load them up? I thought no sh#t sherlock and then the driver told the people in the boat HE needed to get his boat in right there. I thought what a jack*&%.
I'm sure there are (_l_) holes to be encountered at most any public boat ramp. I'm sure that in my earlier, less experienced days; I was called one a time or two.
I've not had anyone give me any grief at Jordan. I have had to wait for folks, though. And some of them were less experienced and took longer than others. I'm there to relax and enjoy. So, those times I relax and enjoy watching them with thier escapades at the ramp.
I thank all of you more experienced boat handlers and trailer backers at being patient with me during my learning curve.:D
"Be Ye Fishers of Men" You catch them- He will clean them
Makes sense ap, was rushing around so to get to High Rock yesterday was starting to make my skin crawl. Had to stop an think "why am I hurring so to start relaxin? Just sloooow down an have a good time!" Them fish"ll be there,.... or not when I get there.
If You Watch Numbers About 75% Of The Ramp Hogs With No Respect Are Bass Fisherman
The Other 25% Are Pleasure Boaters, you Won't See Many Crappie Fisherman That Don't Respect Others.just My 2 Cts

Anchorpuller, I'm sure there was a time when we all were new at this boat loading stuff so I never had any problems with someone inexperienced however I used to back 48 ft trailers at work years ago so to be honest boat trailers were a bit different to me at first.
One other note, I have heard of folks who take their boats out for the first time when the weather warms up and they have not run the boat in forever and they have problems getting the boat to start, run, etc. Those people have been notorious to tie up a ramp for forever working on the boat while others are waiting patiently to load/unload their boat.
