Falls Lake NC 3/17 Results

What a difference two days make. Friday was one of the worst days Fishing for most Anglers who ventured out on to the lake to find a fishing spot for Saturday’s BigEyeCrappieman Tournament. High winds and cold muddy water were being served up Friday and it didn’t taste real good . But !! Saturday came ! the winds changed direction and the Air Temps hit the mid 70’s and the Crappie started heading up into shallow water. A couple teams figured that might happen and were waiting on the fish early in the morning. But for the 2nd straight week it was the father and son team of Eddie and Scott Clifton who came out on top. They had 7 Fish topping the scales at 11.275 lbs .They also had the Big Fish of the Day with a 1.910 lb beautiful Crappie . Congratulations to Eddie and Scott . I love seeing this family out on the water again! What a Blessing! 2nd Place was Right there with them Fishing the same water Chad Meeks and Randy Wilkins who wrangled up 7 beauties weighing 10.855 lbs 3rd Place was the hard charging team of Jeff Dalton and Glenn Sykes who caught 7 fish weighing 9.370 Lbs . Point Leaders Robbie and Keith Johnson keep looking back to see lots of teams cutting into their lead. It’s going to be close as we wind down the Regular Season . So stay tuned!! During our Devotion time we prayed for our brother and fellow Crappie Fisherman Aaron Eubanks who was in a horrific head on collision this past week and is in intensive Care at UNC Hospital. We also read from Gods Word in the Book of Mark where a young man spoke to Jesus and called him “ Good Teacher “ and Jesus responded “there is no one Good except God “ then in Romans where it says “ there is no one good not even one “ so what do we do ? If no one is good . Most people say you must be a good person to get into Heaven . Jesus spoke the Truth when He said “‘only God is Good “ Jesus is God . if no one is good but God how to we get into heaven ? We find the way to heaven through Jesus . Jesus said in John 14:6 “ I am the way the truth and the life , no man comes to Father except through me “ Acts 4:12 also says “ Salvation is found in no other name under heaven except Jesus” So if you want to go to Heaven you must put your Faith in Jesus and what He did for you . John 3:16 says “ God so loved the world that He gave His only son and who so ever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life “ do you believe? If not today could be the day Salvation comes to your house !! Here are the Results from Yesterday’s days Event
