Default High Rock 2/17 and 2/18

2/17- got to lake start fishing about 12:30 found fish quick. Ended up with 43 big ones and a bunch of small ones.

2/18- forum member billynite came up and fished with me and even though the weather was way better the fish just didn't bite as good. Ended day with 39 good ones but had to work alot harder for them. Billy left earlier than me but they probably had close to 10 good ones.

Ready for them to get on the piers but I'm not going to complain! Hope Billy and them had fun!

Great catch! How is the floating debris and is the water clearing up?

Great catch!!! Can you share what depth they were in and was it on jigs or minnows?

I was there for a very short time yesterday and the water I was in looked like a red mud slushy and debris was everywhere. Obviously, the OP has more skill than me. I went to the house with hurt feelings

Hopefully the water clears up soon...

Water temp was 53 when I left and moved on up to 56 before days end. This lake is a little different than Jordan or Harris and there is a whole lot more to fish such as docks on channel bends or big brush piles off of the docks and such and Rageslinger knows where all that stuff is and is a blast to fish with and I will go back and fish with them every chance I get. Not to mention the bait you could almost walk on. That's part of the problem with the fish not biting. The thing i took out from this trip is mark some fish where the bait is't so plentiful and you may catch a few. Hope the rain will let u fish some this week.
