What a Great Day The Lord gave us Saturday for our last regular season Event at Jordan lake. 20 Boats showed up to Fish. It did rain for a little bit but the wind was calm for most of the day. It made for a good shallow bite. Finishing in 1st place was the a husband and wife team of Frankie and Gail Garrard from Durham NC with 7 Fish weighing 9.75 lbs and Big Fish of 1.645 lbs 2nd place was Chad Meeks and Selvin Snead with 7 fish weighing 8.915 lbs and they also had the Big Fish of the Day weighing 1.670 lbs. 3rd place was Jack Sandlin with 7 Fish weighing 8.695 lbs and a Big Fish of 1.650 lbs. 4th Place was the team of Drew Smith and Randy Wilkins with 7 fish weighing 8.160 lbs. 5th Place was Rod King and Art Ferrell with 7 fish weighing 8.015 lbs. In our devotion time we read from 1 Thessalonians 4:13 in Gods Word as we talked about death and how as Christian we don't grieve like the rest of the world who have no hope for we believe that Jesus died and rose again for us so that even if we die we will live forever with Him and our family and friends who have believed and gone on before us.
