Falls Lake Night Stalk = slowww
We fished from in front of Bluejay Island up into the creek past the bridge. the Bite was slow and pretty much shut down all together after 10:30PM. I took home only 5 Crappie. Those came in front of the first cove behind the island in the creek. We headed home at 11:30.
Water level was way up and there was alot of light debree floating. Probably going to take a couple of days for stuff to settle down there.
Planning the next trip Sunday afternoon on the Eno River

fishcrazy or crappycrazy answer me a question if you will. last year the eno got down to 0.81 water level measured i guess at the dam. right now it is listed at 0.91. has it dropped 2 ft in last week? i noticed last week i day it had dropped about 1 1/2 ft. if so that will put ramp barely still in water. if you live near there, take a looksee.

I dont think that he level of the lake has gone down any but the following link has a lot of info about that. http://epec.saw.usace.army.mil/neuse.htm

Well that being said I guess the river level at that ramp may fluctuate a great deal with the amount of rainfall running off into the river basin and may be quite independant from the lake level. Maybe BUZZZZZZZ has been and will chime in here.

I have not been over there in quite some time but, the Eno River flows into Falls Lake. The Lake was up (visually) the other night when was on that. So I am sure the ramp should be fine.

redboat i never had much trouble with water way low last year but a lot of the bassboats and v hulls couldnt lauch. anyone planning on going needs to ck it out. last year at 0.81 the entire ramp was out of water by 3 ft. my old aluminum stumpjumper went in and out with extra help. this river level is reported in newspaper everyday and i keep up with it and use it to help plan ahead a little .

I do remember someone last year saying the ramp had quite a dropoff at the end or side and that someone had quite a problem with it when they ran off of it so exercise care when you cant see the end of that ramp.
