After talking it over we have decided to let all those wish to enter the big fish pool do so at the Dec 9th carolina clash event on lake wylie. We will be doing it a little different than past events just to keep things seperated from participating members and those who are not.
We will first weigh the big fish of those who are not participating in the clash.Once these fish are weighed and their weights recorded , those fish will be returned to their respective boats. Then the big fish for the team members will be weighed and recorded , and finally we will weigh the total weight of each team's 20 fish.
Once all this is done we will award the winning weight for big fish and the team weights respectively. This should keep things organized for the main event and also allow others to be a part of the festivities.

Eric, Do you need to have both SC and NC license to participate in the clash?

BEWARE!! SC NIGHTSTALKER....
If you are just fishing the big fish pot there are no requirements other than that of the lake.Lake Wylie is split between the two states , so it depends on where you plan on fishing that night.Originally Posted by Jeremy1

occasionally well put a rod or two out with a jig on it and let it set in the rod holder. sometimes that picks up a extra fish or two.Originally Posted by big "E"

For me at night if the bite is hot and heavy I'll switch to a jig and see what happens..
I am not much of a Nightstalker(like most of us Northerners), but have been a few times. Just like in the daytime, I use jigs and two poles and every time I went, I caught more fish on jigs than the other two guys did on minnows. Jigs will work if you put a little action on them. I may try to make it over to Wylie in December. I'd like to meet you guys and give NC whatever help I could. Better warn those Wylie slabs that the big fish color is coming!!!!!!Originally Posted by big "E"
