I had really hoped to wake up this morning and see who won? I imagine it is because you guys are tired and sleeping in from catching all those whopper slabs..............
I hope they didn't have the winds we had and are still having.Originally Posted by tarheel

Tarheel we got our buts handed to us last night. The lappers not only caught 3 times the weight we did but they also got the big fish award. While I could blame the outcome on heavy winds or the cold front coming through there is only one reason for the slaughter. Nat. He let those guys come into his back yard and kick our butts. He did no scouting or pre-fishing. And then had the nerve to blame it on the fact that he had to work. Now those of us who know Nat know the humor in that statement. Anyway it was a long night and a long ride home. A few of those lappers had to ride home in the back of the truck cause their heads were so big they couldn't get in the cab. Thanks to all who showed up. We're coming to Wylie with a vengance so you guys better look out. CK.
Just get him on, then we'll worry about getting him in!
was that what it was?? i was told the size limit on tater lake was 14 inches......thats why i didnt bring anything to the scales :D ya we got our butts handed to.....all was fun tho.
if at first you dont succeed............drink another beer
Gotta go.......FISH ON !!
I only fish on days that end in"Y"
It's 9:30 a.m. and none of the S.C. Stalkers have even posted yet. I guess they had to drink all them N.C. meds. and rest up from the butt whupping they put on the Gummies.Sounds like everybody had a good time, that's all that really matters.

Lets Go fish'n
Congrats to BOTH teams last night. I know you guys had alot of fun, although I'd bet that under normal circumstances (without a "Clash") most or all of you wouldnt have made a trip fishing last night. All I can say is you guys from both sides of the "Clash" are one tough bunch of cookies enduring the elements last nite. Hope all made a safe trip home (without any DUI's from the S.C. bunch too ) and looking forwards to reading more trash talk from both sides. Congrats again guys!
My My Hate To Hear Of The Loss To S.c.my Pride In The N.c Gang Is Wounded.maybe We Need To Search For Hidden Talent Among Our N.c.fisherman And Run In A Secret Weapon On Them Next Time.
JERK THEM OUT BY DA ROOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just want to thank the NC bunch for the opportunity to fish your waters. It was my first trip to a NC lake. You guys are a great crowd to be around. We had a very good time only wish the winds would have been better for everyone. One other thing, did anyone besides the few fishing around us see the boat with a siren and red emergency light? It wasn't long after we got set up and that boat came flying in with sirens blaring and lights flashing, but it never stopped. Kind of semi circled us slowly and then blazed back out. Sort of had us bewildered. Anyways, I'm sure yall will regroup and try to figure a way to woop us next go round! Good luck and good fishing guys!
Charter crewman of the beast.... going strong since '99
I wasn't going to blame it on nat but since CrappieKrazy has already brought it up... What I can't understand is how 4 people fishing with 16 rods only manage to boat 1 fish in 6 hours.Congrats to the SC bunch, you showed us how it is done. rango, can I get the name of your root doctor? Maybe you ARE the root doctor. Guess I'll go to the SC board now & take my beating there.
Crappie fishing is my lighthouse of sanity in an insane world,
It keeps me from crashing on the rocky shores of everyday life.
