Thread: Norman today

bout 6 hours later i still cant feel my toes and my fingers. it was cold and the rain just seemed to soak through everything. i did catch a few fish tho. fished the hothole in hopes of some stripers but was greeted with lots of spotted bass. they were schooling everywhere. caugth about a half dozen on a spoon / icefly combo. nothing really big on this go around. better days are around the corner.

I feel it with ya Pete. At least you got into some fish. I fished Jordan today and could only coax a couple too small to keepers.

Yea at least you had something pullin on the line. Last time I was out at Falls I didnt even get a bite. I heard somewhere that the striper were going nuts on Norman. I hate it when I hear something like that and go to fish there and find that they just aint biting. They quit biting the day before you get there and start the day after you leave. lol

Stripers have been biting on Norman...My brother-in-law has been catching them at the power lines as you go into the state park....
