Thread: Slow day on Jordan

Maybe it was me maybe I wasn't using the right bait but it was slow on Jordan today. Only 4 crappie, all keepers, and they showed up late this afternoon. I caught them 15-18 ft in 25 ft water. Here are 2 big ones. The others were 10 1/2 & 10 3/4.

Awww man.... that is not what I wanted to hear! Glad you got to hit the lake though. I sure hope they like what I have for em tomarrow.
If not, I'll have a day to myself to enjoy the water and the company (me) :D

it was slow at the eno too. no one was catchin many. only caught two - and they were finicky too - one just danced with the minnow for about 15 min - finally took it down - and i let him run with it (make sure he was on there) - let it go - oh that kills me.

Seriously, I'm not familiar with how to troll for crappie and I have not took time to learn fishing with jigs yet, where, how, etc. I almost always catch crappie on minnows and I would like to learn other ways soon since it is going to be next year before I go nightstalking again.
