Thread: Beaver Dam Lake

Any of you guys ever fish over at Beaver Dam Lake, at Falls? I've read alot about how good the Bass fishing is over there but just wondered if the crappie fishing is also good. My understanding is that you cannot use a gas motor. Have to use a trolling motor only. Can you put in a bass boat, trim up the big motor and just use the trolling motor?

There are crappie and bass in there. I dont think you can put a boat with a gas engine3 on it in there. I may be wrong bout that though. Its quite small. As far as crappie go the fall is good there and there are some nice size ones in there. My best one out of there was about 15 inches. Good luck.

Sprint - i've fish beaver dam a lot, and do well in the spring, usually the hwy 50 boat launch (which is right by the beaver dam entrance. )- but this fall i haven't been able to find em there like you can at the eno - which is really getting hit hard. As far as trimming up the gas motor, i dont know - you might be able to get away with it - i would call before i go though. During the spring spawn - beaverdam does have some nice slabs
