Default You can't beat a woman or a kid...

It's a good thing that I don't have a kid, I'd never catch a fish. My wife is merciless when she's fishing. She wanted to go to Moss this afternoon, I thought to enjoy the afternoon. I quickly found out she just wanted to show out. We did some longline trolling in all 3 of the northern creeks. She kept me working and sweating the whole time. Don't know how many she caught, let's just say it was a considerable portion of Cleveland County's crappie population. There were plenty of willing fish in each creek, almost all of them were 10" or less. They seemed to bite every color we tied on. She did pull 1 goodin' in:

a 16 incher! I tried to take her picture with the fish for this post, but she said there would be NO SUPPER if I did. That settled that!

Thanks for the report. That sounds like me with the kid's all spring we have troll most of the time. I've ran the trolling motor and they have reel in the few fish we caught, but they have had a good time and i have fun watching them catch them. I tell them it's the man run the troll motor that get's to count the fish, not the man reel them in. They that i am wrong, but it get's them going. They can't cast that good so trolling is working for the kid's, i just wish i could get them on more fish.

Great day of fishing. Thanks for sharing.

Just get him on, then we'll worry about getting him in!

Yep, took my wife out Sunday afternoon, and she caught the only crappie, and caught way more fish total than I did. I could only manage 1 white pearch, but I was glad to see her have a good time out fishing me.
Ain't nothing like the feel of a good THUMP at the other end of the line!!!
