I have still not made it down there since we made the condo drop because I have been so busy up here. I was wondering when does the nite bite really turn on and if those condos would be a good place to try it. Since I'm almost done remodeling my house I may get a chance to come down for a nite or two. If anyone has any tips or a good starting point I would appreciate it. Thanks, Daniel
theres a "chance" i may get out there Friday night with a few friends. if we end up going, you'll know how we did good or bad.
if at first you dont succeed............drink another beer
Gotta go.......FISH ON !!
I only fish on days that end in"Y"
Jiggshooter, James can be a tough crappie lake. I didnt get to spend much time this spring there and really have not done well there after the first week of April this year. I did real good early in March in shallow water around the moose lodge. Most people crappie fish from the Big Island up. I have caught some nice crappie farther down but never any good numbers. Seems like every year is different, last year I did pretty good all spring but the few times I have been out the last few weeks I have struggled.
Daniel, three of us fished 5 condos Tuesday night. Didn't have any luck on four of them but did real well on one. We didn't count them, but had to have close to our limit. Five gallon bucket of heads was almost full. They were from 9" to 14" and threw back alot of small ones. Condo was on main lake.
I'd say any condo in the main lake sould be good. Looks like I'll be out there tomorrow nite!
Just above them. Condo was in 28' and we were fishing 8'-13' deep.
