    Default Jordan 4/17 report

Took my two teenaged daughters and their boyfriends to Jordan today. Yes folks, we had a boat load. I was a little concerned at first that we might be too crowded but it worked out ok. The kids had fun and we caught enough to keep them interested - at least until the mid-day slowdown.

Started out about 8 in Bush Creek (had them young'uns up and ready to roll at 0630! - I live an hour from Jordan). Picked up a few fish in the main creek and a few in the back bay. Despite the windy forecast it was almost flat calm and we didn't see hardly anyone else there. Things slowed down and the kids were ready for a change of scenery so we motored over to White Oak.

Got quite a few bites in WO but not a single keeper out of the bunch. Moved back to Bush to finish out the day where we picked up a few more. Biggest fish of the day was 13.5 and came from BC in the mid-afternoon.

Was LL trolling jigs and they didn't seem too choosy about colors. If I had to say I would pick Black/Chart as the one that got more attention.

Ended up with 8 in the cooler for supper which have since met their fate. Pictures will follow in day or two.

Another good day on the water.

The wind wasn't that bad although it was pretty strong late in the day.

PS: Met JordanLimit face to face for the first time today. It was good to talk to you in person finally!

It was good seeing you as well Chris. You did have a quite a boat load. I tried a couple of other places, but ended up with only small ones. When I went back across the main part of the lake around 4:30 there were some white capps out there.
