Hey Buzzbait or any other locals...how does the Eno look this week? Haven't fished in weeks and itchin' for a change of scenery from the old salt mine. At least the bills are paid and I'm still eating, for now...![]()
I did not go that way this morning and I am still at work so not sure what the rain has done to it. I would say it should be just fine.
Redboat is expecting a report from me in the morning so I am going to stop by the ramp on my way in to work. He is worried about the current. I would say this weekend is going to be good.
I will let you know in the morning.
BUZZZZ
Yeah they are pulling alot of water out of Falls...I'm Courious to see what its doing to the curent up the Eno...
Stoped at the ramp this morning. Water looks GREAT!! Very little current and the color is good. There were around 6 boats on the water at 8am.
GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!!
BUZZZZ
Thanks Buzz..., one of them boats has three of my buddies in it. Since I gotta work today, I will meet them there in the am if they have a good report. Will try to post if I get time. Got a group of seven from my church that are pulling out Sunday to go to gulf coast of Florida for some speckled trout and redfish action.....(we hope):D! Will for sure post when we return after Thanksgiving.
Tried the Eno and Flat yesterday 730-530. Water looked ok, pretty good current though and level fairly high. Tough day..ended up catching about 10, only 1 big enough to keep. Fish were suspended from 4-8 ft over 11-12 ft. Lots of fish on graph but could not get them to hit anything. Talk to others who reported about the same. All the fresh water seems to have turned them off. Will wait for the level to stabilize and try it again.
Just one more bite...please.
We managed a fair mess of fish last saturday on the Eno. Got a five gallon bucket full. Had a great trip to Florida first of this week, got many limits of trout, a few flounder and hundreds of smallish black bass. Heading back to Eno tomorrow. looking for a beautiful, cool day.
Saturday was very tough on the Eno. Only managed 19 for the pan, but they were nice sized, with 12 of them over a pound. It was a beautiful day to be fishing.
Thanks Foot. My father is hoping to get up there one day this week.
