nice video, i cant wait for my little girl to get big enough to enjoy fishing as much as poking around in the minnow bucket.
so whats the deal with the eno fish? are they residents and stay there? or do the falls fish migrate up there to spawn in the fall/spring? is the river good deep water winter fishing? would the fish be stacking up around the 85 bridge waiting to head up there?
I havent fished that part of the lake before, but id like to.

this is what it looked like this afternoon
God bless America

SK,great winter fishing in the Eno.It's relatively shallow compared to most rivers and lakes. It usually has an abundance of the small shad in it and the crappie are in hog heaven. Most fishing done from the Mouth of the Flat down.I have talked to guys that fish around the trussle, but i never have done much around it myself. That's not to say other have not.CrappieKrazy,Redboat,Buzz and the EnoMan fish it more often than i do and are good people that will help you out.As soon as that water clears up it should turn on over there big time. The Sunday before Thanksgiving was a very good day for me there last year.

SK I have caught lots of numbers of fish there, but never no real big ones. most seem to average 10 to 12'' and some bigger. My best out of there was 2.3 lbs, but best part of it is not the fishing, its the beauty of it. Its just a wild natural place where you are liable to see any type of wildlife on the banks. When the fish start biting you can barely squeeze a kayak in there, there are so many people its unreal. There are places in it where water is 115 to 17 ft deep, lots of laydowns and brush in water and several of my old brushpiles. Next to the roanoke river, it is perfect. Go during week if possible, and when you launch boat head upriver about 1/2 mile. You go once you will go forever/. Gonna be a while now though till water goes back down and trees stop rushing up river.
