Thread: Tried em Sunday

and Im tellin ya that skunk still smells bad as ever. Didnt try real hard though cause I had some friends out for the afternoon that just werent into fishing that much. Boat still has some slow speed ideling issues. Wants to cut off at idle or when putting into gear. You need to really get into the throttle or it wants to stall out. Have not tried to run any cleaner through the carb yet but did get a service manuel to try to learn something about the outboard as I dont know anything. Boat runs good at speed though and motor seems strong.

Back at the ramp(HWY 50) I ran into two guys taking out a pontoon and they had been fishing all day and had a real nice cooler full of fish. Wouldnt tell me where they caught them but did say they were fishing toward the marina from hwy 50 launch and they were biting at about 15 ft deep but not on the bottom. Said they could not get any fish near the bottom to bite for what thats worth. There were some nice size fish in that cooler too so Falls still has something for those that can find em. That aint me lately. lol
