What GPS?
Me and my wife are going to Nashville and I thought it would be a good reson to but a GPS, but not being a big travler, it needs to work on the boat also.
It needs to be easy to use, points of interest, auto rerouter, waypoints, and more accurate than my old handheld. O yea, and water proof. I am looking at the Garmin nuvi 500. Any help will be apprecated

I have one of those and I personally wouldn't get that kind if you want it primarily for fishing. I would get a Garmin GPSMAP76 of some type. They come preloaded with software for on the road navigation (not as good as the GPS made for cars). But if you are looking for something primarily for boating, marking GPS locations and on the water navigation the Garmin MAPGPS is the way to go. The more expensive models of course have the most and better features. I have the GPSMAP76cx that I use and love it. All the MAP 76 series are waterproof and float if its accidently dropped. Plus you can get some inland lakes fishing maps for it also.
