John and I went to the F P area for an afternoon of slab seeking. Arrived around 3:00 and the area was thin of fishermen which wasn't a good sign. "Should have been there two hours ago", kinda feeling cause a lot were leaving with limits. Any way we tried it for 3.5 hrs, ended up w/18 husky slabs. Wind got rough the last hour but that was when we caught the best ones. Some on minnows, some on jigs, had to find their hiding places to get a bite, tight to the cover.
Love to feel that thump!

Where have you been 1Mac38? I've been looking for your obituary in the local papers. I see your not "DEAD" just missing the "THUMP". If you need some help just let John know and we'll take you to school!!!! For a small fee $$$ we'll open the "LAB" for you. Glad you guys had a good day, it's making me hungry! See you later. Skiff
