Thread: minnow count/high rock area

folks watch yourself around high rock if your buying minnows. stopped at a place that has always been a little slack, but we ask for 5 dozen each in 2 buckets, got 22 in one and 19 in the other. if we hadn't checked we would have been at the lake when we found out. i've heard of a lot of slack counts around the area of high rock. lets get a list of the good ones and let the others get the message the old fashion way.

got that right my friend!! I used to go to Mimi's til he said they give 1 extra minnow per dozen and they are precounted in small containers in minnow tank!! That's the way they were last year when I stopped by and haven't been back since!!and then $9.99 for tube of tilt/trim fluid (small one)!! I have been getting good counts at the old Daddy Rabbits, but usually have to say something when they count them! just my 2 cents!

Daddy's Rabbits has always been good on their counts. Especially, if you say something like, "don't lose count, those things are like gold", or something generic.

No kidding!! I remember once, I pumped 16 gallons of gas into a 12 gallon tank!!!??? I didn't notice till I got back home and started thinking about it. I called the place and warned them that I knew what they were up to and sure enough two weeks later I noticed some big mobile testing station there checking all their pumps and gas out.

This would be a great thread to do about all the lakes because I've notice getting shorted a time or two around jordan.

I hope it wasn't Hill's. They have never shorted me.

ok simple, which store to avoid?

i have had problems with hills in the past shorting me, but it really wasnt that bad of an amount in my opinion to make mention of it
