    Default Jordan lake 10/10 Am

Got on the water close to first light. Started fishing out with the "armada" and didn't do so good. Caugth a few real small ones and 1 bigger one that went into the basket. From there I went back over by the bridge and proceded to catch some good keepers. I left the fish biting at 11:30. For me, the the best color was ice blue. I had a total of 9 solid keepers 11-13" for my efforts

nice job! thanks for the report. I've had great success with blue in other ponds and lakes for crappie but never tried it much at jordan. Think I'll give it a shot next time!

Nice catch. These falling barometer days have been a real killer down here in Ga.

Hey Redboat--I was fishing near you. I was in the CC Neptune. My trolling motor is a handsteered one and in the back of the boat, while my rods were out the front. I was running from front to back all day. I lost four really nice one's on my long rods because I could not get the net down in the water quick enough. I also lost a number because I could not get to the front quick enough to set the hook. Still, it was a nice day on the lake. I haven't crappie fished in several months. All the retired guys on here will get the ones I missed during the week.

i was out there with you guys, as well. my boat is the small drab green v-hull.

fishing was slow at times and hot others, overall a steady day. i threw back keepers untill around 10, but could have limited easily by 11. my hot color again was johndeer green. but crawdad, junebug, and blue with chartreuse tails all did well. i also used alot more lead than i usually use. started out with half oz and was over 1oz by quitting time.

at the end of the day i motored out to the deep part of the ditch to try to find a couple more bigger fish and caught a nice 24"-ish striper. first freshwater striper for me ever, i thought for sure i had a hawg crappie or cat. the next pass over the same hole i hooked a large cat, but no more stripers. overall a good day.
    God bless America

Hey Spiderkayer--I saw you out there along with Redboat. I thought you were pulling them in. You may have a drab boat, but you outfished me. I'm in sales and am working on a deal right now. If it goes through, I'll be getting a trolling motor on the front of my boat and then maybe I can keep up with you. I was fishing closer to redboat and before he left, I saw him pull in several nice slabs. I didn't catch my limit, but did get enough to have the in-laws over for a fish fry after church today.
