somewhat spur of the moment and went solo.

you know its going to be a good night on the rock when you set up to night fish before dark and cant even keep 3 rods in the water!

set up on the same spot as a few weeks ago. was fast and furious the whole time. set up hour before dark, ran out of 9 doz minnows by 1015, and used up about 4 or 5 doz shad i scooped up by 1130! wanted to stay longer, but once the moon got high, the shad would not come to the surface anymore.

probably landed over 90-100 fish. many 10+ inch fish released, but on this night i had to weed through a good many dinks. i was very particular on what i kept. finished off with a decent HR limit with fish between 10-14 inches, 2 perch, and my last bait of the night i broke off probably one of the biggest white bass ive ever seen. it was atleast 3+ lbs. lost it when it wrapped around my q-beam and decided to make another run. oh well. all night long couldnt fish more than 3 rods.

big difference in water temp.....in 2nd creek it was 87-88 degrees, and on the mainlake it was 81-82...any man with fishing knowledge/common sence would be fishing the main lake right now....hint hint

spoke to a man at the landing who thought i was full of crap with an attitude from hell because he only caught 4 dinks all night long til 11:30....until i lifted the lid of my cooler.

lol would be glad to have you on board. i dont ever fish more than 2 people, but on high rock with the light load of gear i bring, i need to try to fish 3 and see what we can stir up
