Yesterday was my first real fishing trip since I returned from Iraq a couple weeks ago.
Caught over 60 crappie 44+ were from 9.5 to 9.75 inches, got a little frustrated, brought 16 keepers home along with 9 nice channel cats all fish but one ended up in the pond by my house.
Fished a bend in the river channel main lake 14-26 ft most of the fish suspended 10-12 feet, a main lake point with some stumps 12-16 ft and the flat near the bridge on Beaver Creek 3-5 ft of water their were a ton of 9 inch crappie up this shallow with a few keepers.
On leave for the next month hopefully will find the summer crappie hotspot this week.
