Default Moss Today 8-16-08

Fished from 8:30 am til 3:30 pm, 40 to 45 fish were caught in my boat, Knappy finally caught a few fish today, 12 or so, He is not fishless today, Not sure how many we kept, Knappy took them and has not counted them, He also has the pictures, I am waiting on them. water temp was around 83 or 84. All fish were caught on brush 17 to 22 feet of water. Knappy joined us about 12:30 pm. The fishing went down hill from then on. Skiers were rough on us today!!!!! They think they own the place! Still a Good day on the water.

Thanks goes to Cheesedog for giving us some more minnows. I had almost gone through 5 dozen when Knappy showed up. Cheesdog saved the day.

Knappy, we would like to see them pictures now.

Great catch. Question: are there enough hybrids in Moss to target them? Also tell me again the fees that are required to fish on Moss. Thanks:iamfishing

I have not fished for them, what I have seen were small, I see them hit the surface some but they dont stay up long. I have caught a few while crappie fishing, they were 12 to 16 inches long.
The fees are 50.00 boat permit and 15.00 fishing permit.

Since he is able to go fishing everyday has made friends with someone else who doesn't have to work either---and he also feeds him--he has fed me on rare occasions

Dont be picking on my buddy, there Knappy. You for got to resize the pictures. But atleast you got them on here. Now I got to teach you what to take picture of and what not to. Some things you dont show everyone. I understand that you are still a greenhorn in the crappie fishing world. I hope you learned something about fishing yesterday. We will have another lesson soon. Maybe Cheesedog will teach next time.

Not sure about out of state, rango. You can go with me and you will only need fishing permit. If you can take the daylight and the heat.
