Default High Rock/8-15

Went For A While This Morning. Rigged For A While In The Mouth Of Second Crk. Caught Some Good Fish. The Sun Came Up And It Was Business As Usual. Hope I'm The Only One In This Slump. What Worked This Morning Was Chartreuce/pepper Tube 1/8 Head. Rigging With 1/8 Ounce Bullets. Speed Was Super Slow. Depth Was 8 To 13ft . Caught Fish Around 5 To 6 Ft. Surface Temp. Was 79 At Start. After They Stopped, We Went Deeper And Moved Around That Area. Fish Were Still Showing Up On The Finder Just Could Not Get Them To Bite.

Simple the other day when I went to High Rock....I was catching them around 12 feet...lots of little dinks. The after the sun came up and it got hot, I had to reach down to about 26 feet or so, and caught my better fish there. But I never caught anything less than 12 feet at all.

I CAN'T CATCH EM NO BETTER AT THE ROCK THAN I CAN AT THE TOWN PAINTER. THESE GUYS POSTING THAT ARE CATCHING 70 IN A DAY ARE "THE MEN". WE DID ENJOY RIGGING FOR THE FIRST TIME. I'M NOT REALLY SET UP FOR IT YET BUT I CAN SEE WHERE IT COULD BE VERY PRODUCTIVE. CAUGHT SOME CRAPPIE THAT REALLY HAD SOME SHOULDERS ON THEM. MAYBE NEXT TRIP.
