Found The Crappies Stil;l At The Same Area And Hungry. Caught Maybe 50 Or 60. Still In 12 Ft Water, Near Deep Channels. Cant Catch Any In The Deep, Guess Not Enough Oxygen. Thermocline Marked At 19 Ft. All On Minnows. Didnt Keep Any. Majority Of Fish Between 10'' And 13''. Had 2 14''. On Minnows 2 Turns Off Bottom, Tight Line Trolling .03 Mph. Water Temp A Little Cooler, 82.8. . Been A Good Summer Bite So Far, And Getting Better.

Well I'm glad someone did well at Jordan this weekend. Minnowboy, his son, and I went to Farrington Pt. Friday afternoon/nite. We fished along the channel in the timber straight out from the landing and all around the bridge. We only caught 1 keeper and 5 or 6 smaller ones. Now...there were some guys under the bridge who had those "secret weapon green lights" you see on the internet. Dang they had thousands of shad, not minnows, swarming around both lights. They were consistently catching crappie and every 15 or so minutes fighting a 8-10 lb. cat in the boat. They were using small crappie fillets for the cats they said. Makes me wanta check out this "secret weapon" more. The ads are so built up I always just closed them without checking the price. Must be something to it...they were 20' away from us losers!
