OK all you boat owners who have been waiting patiently for MAD South registration to open for the fall event, now is your chance!
MAD South will be held in Oak Island on Saturday October 18th to enable all of us who love the water and sportfishing to say "One Simple Thanks" to our Honored Military Guests by volunteering to take some out on your boat for the day.
After taking two Military guests out myself on June 7th this year, the feeling of being able to serve those who serve us was very gratifying and I can't wait to do it again.
Many of these service men and women have never had the opportunity to be on a boat like this and will be happy just to go out for a fun day on the water with you. (Catching fish really helps though!)
Hey....they need time off to relax too, and you can help them do that in a very memorable way!
Below is the link that goes to the registration page:

Click on the banner below my signature to learn all about MAD Inc (501 (c) (3) Non-Profit), and what we are all about. If you can't bring a boat, I urge you to help out any way you can by joining a committee, volunteering to help at the event, or just drop by the site and say hello on the forums every once in a while.
All the details on the Captain's meeting the night before and details on how the launch/load process will go are forthcoming. There is a big cookout planned after the boating is done, lots of good food and good people, and lot's of giveaways and prizes for our volunteers and our military guests.
At the very least please do this:
Stop and shake the hand of someone in public you see in uniform and thank them for their service to our Country, without them you would not even have that simple freedom to use!
