    Default Rushford Lake

    Located in Allegany County, off Rte 243 and Rte 19, this lake was formed for hydropower with a dam at the east end. Boat access is from Balcom Beach Road, free launches for boats with less than 25 HP motors. Lots of 16 inch Rainbows and walleye this year. Due to winter drawdown, no ice fishing is permitted. Fed by two streams with a depth of near 120 feet at the dam, you just do not know what is next here.
