Thread: fishing buddy

i live close to leicester , im from mississippi , moved here few years ago and looking for someone around here to fish with...

First off, Welcome Aboard crappie.com!!! I'm probably an hour down the Thruway from you between Syracuse and Rochester.

I would say "me", but only get out that way once or twice/year, and then fish off my sister-in-law's boat on Silver Lake. Since I wouldn't make a good fishing buddy, I'm going to point you to a place to hopefully find 1 or 2.

There's a fairly local fishing forum that is centered on Rochester, but goes a couple counties East and West of Rochester. We're not a big forum, but have great members that try to get together to fish whenever possible. Don't let the name fool you either, it says "Bass" but we all enjoy fishing for pretty much all species. In fact, crappie happens to be a favorite for many of us.

Join, and introduce yourself in the introductions section and I'm guessing you'll have some fishing buddies in short-order.
