Start your thread with the name of lake in CAPITAL letters. How you did, depth you caught them, bait/lure used. This is the information other fisherman can ultilize to have a successful outing. You still have to locate the specific area of the lake that is holding the school of fish. Haven't been out, but my boatt is out of storage and being used as I type, by my son and grandson, (5) Perch fishing the north end of Canandaigua Lake.
Two older reports via a close friend: Also many other boats in north area not doing to well.
Cayuga.
Did really well on Perch, 7-10 feet of water, jig tipped with minnow. 25 over 8". Culled many under 8.
Sodus Bay
Did really well on the Perch fishing. Basically same pattern as Cayuga. Same depth and presentation. 25 over 9 inches . Had to cull through about 100 fish to get the 25.
I had some luck this past Saturday 4/22/17 at bear lake in Chautauqua county
