Anybody in Central NY have any luck finding open water for crappie fishing yet?
All my little lakes are still iced in.

There are some open rivers and a few cracks in Chautauqua where the rivers flow into the lake, and if you look for it there are spots open around Presque Isle Erie, but its hard to find crappie in those waters till we get some warmer air to raise the water temp a little more. I'm gonna go out and have a look see around a few spots I know will be open and I'll take some pics if I get any.
