Default Jig Material from Pics

[font="Palatino Linotype"][size="3"][color="Green"]I paint my own heads, for the soft rubber jigs like the green goblin in the picture I use Sili Legs Charteus/Silver Flake. Sili legs work great because you use very little and after I tie the backof the jig on I tie both ends to the front of the jig head and thencut them. Even if you want the same lenght more twords the heard if you want a putty look. They are easy to trim inthe end!! I caught the Crappie, the gill, a large mouth about 4.5Lbs that went back, a small 18 inch pick(also went back after a picture) and that nice bull head and I was mssing a lot of Crappie for a reason I havnt figured out yet, its buggin me!! I didnt have them hooked but they had the jig. The jigs I have tied since with different color Sili legs and other rubber stuff have been doing real well, when it slows down tip them with a spike, going to try fat heads tonight then swoth to bullhead gear, they have to be all in that water by now, yesterday the water temp ws 51 degree and those slabs still hd eggs in them. Thanx for the complament!! Nothing better then catching a nice fish on a jig you tied!! I tie my Steelie and Brown jigs also. Tight lines Jim
