Thread: anybody from around Scottsbluff?

Hey guys. I am Brian. I live in Mississippi now but am looking at moving to the Scottsbluff area. Just wondered if there is any good crappie fishin around there??

Hi Brian! There are a few lakes around that area. Minatare Lake, Winters creek Lake and Lake Alice. The Platte River runs right thru that area. The Oregan Trail runs along the river. If you want to drive a ways there is Lake McConaughy and Lake Ogallala. Ogallala is a trout lake. The Big Mac as it is called is the premiere lake of the State. Once you get established and get to know people they can turn you on to private lakes around the area too. Good luck!
