No. People eat fish, they don't eat lions and giraffes
I'm sure by now everyone here has heard the outrage about Cecil the Lion being lured off a reserve and hunted for sport. In the aftermath, there seems to be a growing opposition to sport hunting of any kind. My intent is not to debate the ethics of any sport hunting/fishing, and I hope that does not become the focus of this thread. Instead, I am curious what your thoughts are on the potential impact on fishing for sport. Catch and release tourneys, mounting trophy fish, filleting fish alive, and just fishing in general...do you feel there is a clear and present danger to our pastime here?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Cecil is just one more step on the road to the anti hunting/fishing agenda.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
