Thread: 43 degree rise

Got up around 4 am this morning and it was -14.3

Just checked and its 27.5 now,not exactly a heat wave but thats quite a swing in temp!

Nice and sunny ,but a stiff breeze across all that frozen ground still makes it cold!

On the warmer temps. Finally got cold enough long enough to make safe ice and keep fishing.
With the warmer temps. the safe ice goes away, and the menacing ice remains.
Hopefully the ice goes away enough to get back on the water.

Warm temps is relative...still below freezing,that ice ain't going away up here for a while.

Hate to be this way Cook but I would rather you have the ice than me. If it don't warm up soon down here I will be repairing tractors in ice and snow. Dad already has a list of stuff he wants me to fix as soon as it warms up a little bit.
