Thread: A lot of excitement in the little city

Construction workers just hit the gas line next door. Two of my bosses have offices on that side of the building and the police have advised them to leave their offices. As luck would have it, I'm on the other end of the building so my bosses told me to stay and work. Ain't life grand?

Gas company arrived and has everything shut down. The excitement is over for the day.

Um, I would have left anyway. Gases from an explosion can expand several thousands of times. That means walls moving and ceilings collapsing. Your bosses are not very smart. If you had been hurt or died, they would have been in some serious legal hurt.

The city is Fayette.

And yes, I realize how stupid a decision it was to require that we stay in the building that would have blown to smithereens if there had been a spark. That's what happens when your bosses are W O M E N!

It's raining here so there will be no excitement in Fayette as the workers aren't here.
