    Default Wappapello Saturday

Tall Timber and I hit Wapp again today. The results are totally different. Timber found the crappie hiding in blown over tree tops. We flat wore them out. Wore us out too with the 30 mile an hour wind. Brought home 26. Had some pigs in the bunch. They ran from 9.5" to 14". My jig pole holdin arm is done in.:D Thanks Brad. It was a blast.

Wore out arm from smacking some slabs is always a good thing. Glad you had a good day even with the wind. Same wind and results up here today.

Nice job Chris. Glad you got into them.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

I went with Duke today. He's good company, but his breath smells like a dog's rear :D

Got over there about nine, fished til about 3 or so. Wind was rough, and getting worse. Temps 65 to 75 throughout the day. Kept fourteen, lost two or three more keepers. One was a nice fish, done everything but pulled a knife on me. Broke my pole, then my line. Left me there with a dumb look on my face, standing in the middle of the mess she had made.

Got a good mess of fish this weekend. They say anybody can catch them this time of year, and I guess that's right. It's a good thing, I was getting a complex.
