    Smile LOZ Vacation!

Heading out this weekend for a week long time on the lake. Staying at a neighbors condo near the 54 bridge out of Camdenton. I think it should be just about right on!!!!!

Future son-in-law coming down Monday thru Wed. He doesn't believe the stories and has never really been fishing. This should hook him

I shouldn't have any problems finding some spots, though it's been years since I've fished the lake, I've heard first hand that they are hanging around brush piles around docks around 4 feet deep.

Any new info would be appreciated!:D

The lake in this area (we are staying in a condo for the next 4 months or so in that area) is very muddy. The fish are still there and are in shallower than those in clearer water, but catching them is a different matter. Crappie, being sight-feeders, simply cannot find their prey. If you have to fish this area (no boat), you may have to fish with minnows until this water clears. I fished near the 4MM on the Niangua this morning--9 miles down from you and did well, but the water clarity was 15 inches or so as this chocolate stuff moves down the river. It will eventually clear, but next week's rain may bring in more muddy waters. If you have a boat go down the Niangua arm until this mud dissipates into water with some more clarity! Or fish for catfish!
Good Luck! Hope you catch a lot of fish.
