Went to Fellows this afternoon with my son. We kept 20...9-13" Ten to
twenty feet of water...jigs....any color...but the bite was very slow. Couldn't
see any grass on the east end...water clearer on west end. Lots of sunshine...little wind...not bad.
way to go sam, good report.![]()
Good Job, SAM ! Sounds like some nice crappies.
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!![]()

Great report, nice to see something from other than one of the crown jewel big lakes we so often read about. It takes a great fisherman to figure out some of these lesser known bodies. Keep up the great work.
I remember fishing Fellows while in college in Springfield and catching a few crappie way back when, seem to recall we averaged about one crappie per six pack of beer.
may i be half the man my dog thinks I am and a whole lot better than my wife says
NIce job. Nice day to be on the water.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

Pitching jigs, catching slabs, life is good
Thanks guys...I recently moved to Nixa, and it's nice to have a place to go when you just have a few evening hours. I've caught some 15"ers at Fellows
before...but sometimes it can really be a challenge....I just need more time on the water to learn more about it....see you out there somewhere.![]()
