C.H. if you put in at 125 go off the ramp up into that creek (Buck creek) I've had allot of locals tell me that is a really good spot they fish the east side and usually do really good!
I only fish Spring creek area and up to theadosia bridge, I can't help in that area just passing on what I've heard.

Talked to a friend the other day and said the same thing. Fished buck creek and had some nice 13" blacks using minnows.
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!

I have never fished that area. Water will be cooler than up river. You may try Howard Creek or Jimmie Creek. But I would run up to Oakland and up that big creek (Gulley Spring Creek). Alway heard that was good for Walleye fishing.
