Thread: Pomme 4/21

Well I hope if anyone else fished Pomme today they did better than Dad and I. We put in at Pittsburgh and the water looked like chocolate milk, we briefly tried some of the brushpiles there and got blowed away so we ran down the lake aways looking for a little clearer water which we found but the doggone wind was horrible we couldn't find anywhere to get out of it well enough to fish. We tried several different places the water temp was ranging from 53 to 57 but couldn't find any fish in any of the typical places. Does anyone know if the recent weather has them screwed up or do I just suck?

I fished Pomme Friday and Saturday and caught just one keeper. It was slow!! I tried brush piles, stumps and the shoreline. I hear their getting ready to spawn. Hopefully that will help.

I went out monday....nothing but a lot of wind.

Thats not good news. Plan to go saturday to prefish for a tourney. may jus head up to bucksaw instead.
