    Default Anybody fish Smithville today?

I'm following bwill's lead...If anybody fishes smithville today I sure would appreciate hearing how you did. On the other hand, if they're not biting at Smithville, might be seeing Bwillaub at Bucksaw tomorrow!

They did cut the draw down back to 750 cfs late yesterday so maybe the fishing will be better first part of next week. ??. Jim C.

Come on down, Hawg. Looks like it's gonna be a foggy one. Drive safely.

They did cut it back but as of this morning still dumping 812 cfs. Talked to one of the Corps dudes on Friday and he thought they would be done dumping water on Saturday.

Also told they were letting out water so they could put the rock dikes in on the wind worn points.

Sure wish they could have waited a week longer.

The guy I bumped into on Friday morning that works for the Corps said they needed to let about a foot of water out....good god almighty what in the world do they consider "a foot"?

    FINALLY!

This coming from a duck hunter that dont hunt ducks when we got temps like we've had....that leads to crappie fishin! But a big draw down like that screws things up!!!!
