We packed up Friday night and headed to Bucksaw - arriving after darkWhat a nice corp camp ground
we stayed in 58A. The weather was perfect
and the fishing was good:D:D. We didn't have limits Sat or Sun but can't complain with 20 being caught Sat and 23 Sun:D
Details - Fished flats in 10-22 ft water - fishing 10 ft deep - minnows and nibbles. No bite after 1 oclock.
Had the pleasure of meeting MR Baker at the Bucksaw Tournament weigh in and saw Long Poler and met his family also. We ran into CrappieNovice and her husband out on the water Sat and Sun.

Nice Job ya'll it was a good weekend weather wise for sure. hope it stays this way for awhile. congrats. again
www.slabbuster.com check them out I use them and love them
Can't believe the difference in the morning and the afternoon bite. Stayed late last evening just for curiosity, they humbled me after midday. Shad get so active and so thick in the evening that I'm thinking has something to do with it.
may i be half the man my dog thinks I am and a whole lot better than my wife says
Me too, I can understand that when the sun is directly over head and beating down hard on the water that things would slow down some. But then the sun breaks over and starts to cast some shadows on the water and the shad come up and get real active that the crappie fishing would get better, but it hasn't worked that way for me the last two times on Truman. It'll get better and better I hope!
nice fish.
