it's looking to be a little nicer this weekend. get your boat out and do some fishing...take the kid's, take the wife, take your dog, neighbor just get out...what chore's you have can wait til monday... now let's get moving...restring the reel's, organize your tackle, check the batteries in your scale...and get a move on:D there are crappie to be had. good luck to all who journey out this weekend. if spouse's have a problem with my two cent's just tell them the slayer said it was ok and you will be golden:D

heading on a trip with Chatt to Pomona Sunday....can't wait. May get some "prefishing" in this evening or tomorrow after work.

I will be staying at Bucksaw Monday and Tuesday with the boy if the weather holds. Was going to camp but may stay in the rooms on the water now. They have a slip right outside your door. Maybe easier than loading and unloading everyday. Any body esle going to be down that way first part of next week?

Speck Jr. and I are headed back to Mississippi next week for a few days. Gotta get into some more of those sippi hogs. No need to ask the wife. She encourages me to leave whenever I get a chance.

Chatt will put you on some fish. The summer pattern that he taught us is what KCMO, Baller, Beagle and I used last weekend on Toronto. It will take a little getting used to, but will be very productive when nobody else is catching anything.

Long Poler here. I'm going in the morning and probably on Saturday. My brother is coming in from St. Louis and wants to try it around that area. I will let you know how we do.

Think I'll try the Rock tomorrow and see if my summer trolling pattern will work now that the water is down.
