Thinking about going out today, but had some heavy rain yesterday.Got home from work to late to see the water conditions.I slow down and use bigger jigs in dingy water...any other tips?

Temp also dropped...I got 46 right now.

Find clearer water if thats an option if not try roadrunners the flash seems to help at times in muddy water and don't forget the nibbles they will make a big difference, tightlining or under a bobber is the style i'd use....good luck.

Wildlife area doesn't close until 10/15 and the closed area only extends 2-3 miles north of W. You can access the north part of the lake by boat from the Plattsburg ramp (free)... or, like Cook, by P.T. Cruiser.

After 2 good days this week with large fish and very few shorts...I'd say yup!!I'd say the water needs to drop another 10 degrees for the whites to show up.
