Without having to dig into the regulations book, anyone have an idea of how many poles/hooks I can have out trolling on lakes/rivers in Missouri?
I believe you're allowed 3 poles per person unless you have your name and address on each, then you can have up to 30. As long as you don't have more than 30 hooks per fisherman.

Good Lord...after Fishing with Cracker68 this weekend on Reelfoot....about 3 is all I can handle.....we had out 8...I got dizzy just trying to watch 2!
thanks for the info!
Not like it matters, but just for accuracy. It's 33 hooks max. per angler.

I'll take 6 jars of nibbles and 18 dozen minnows, please.

probably 30 to many when you get into a big brush pile and get hung up:DOriginally Posted by Kit Papermouth

You guys are right about the brush piles. It's also as bad when you have out six poles and each pole goes down with one or two white bass on them. Takes 5 minutes to get them all in and 15 minutes to untangle the lines. Some times it's easier to catch more fish with one pole and a jig than six with minnow cuz you can get in and out of the water a lot faster.
DR....Regarding the 18 doz. minnows. On Webbers falls last spring we had 1.5 lbs. of minnows which is about 250 minnows. We ran out of minnows around 2:00. Never got a bite after that.

Holy cow! You must have one heckuva good minnow bucket. I'll need to check that out.

10 gallon keep alive unit.
It's a bitch to get in and out of the boat when it's full. I keep the minnows in a floatin' minnow bucket. They get plenty of O2
