No comment on the shingles however, use nanofil up here in the clear Wisconsin waters and seems to do a nice job. Solid balance between clarity & strength.

Has anybody tried it and did you like it? Hubby got some and liked it. So I put some on the 2 outfits I use most for casting. 1 is a 5 ft.ultralight outfit and other 6 ft. Light outfit. Used it over the weekend and so far so good. Cast much further than braid and no curly q's like mono. I can cast really light stuff with my little outfit with no effor. Which is good. Had shingles years ago on my right arm. It messed it up for extended use. Better now but still not 100%. So anything I can find for easier casting is better. I highly recommend getting to shingles vaccine. I have never had anything hurt so much. I guess because it involves only nerves. It is really bad.

Never tried nano but I will agree on the shingles shot. My wife suffered terribly with that for months.
$20 for 150 yards of six pound test . I'm sure it's good line but I'll stick with 2360 yards of Vicious Hi Vis for $15 and Power Pro braid. Only thing I use braid for anymore is corking in wells sometimes. For some reason Vicious pan fish line has very low memory from what I have experienced.
Got it on sale so price was better. Just needed something that was easier on my arm. So far so good. For our Baitcasting reels that we catfish with we use Bass Pro Tightline in 40 lb. haven't had a fish break it yet. Hubby has hard time breaking it when hung up.
